How often can or should I use Phyto-Fos or other foliar phosphorous fertilizer?
During growth of any kind (foliar, root, flower or fruit/vegetable) is when the plant will respond the best to the Phyto-Fos. A plant grows by cell division which requires phosphorus as part of the “fuel” (ATP) for this process. For plants that grow continuously you should Phosphorus spray regularly. For a plant that grows in flushes followed by short dormant periods like a lychee tree you should Phyto-Fos just during the growth flushes.
