How often are the federal, state and wireless lists updated?
All state and federal Do-Not-Call legislation, including Canada, is meticulously tracked by CCI’s regulatory staff from introduction to list availability and eventual circulation. Once available, DNC registries are secured and loaded on the TeleBlock® platforms for any subscriber that properly registers and purchases the applicable registries, and can show proof of registration. Federal, state and wireless DNC registries are received in a variety of different formats, including website downloads, e-mail file attachments and CD and, with the exception of two states that update their list monthly, update quarterly. On a federal level, the national DNC registry is updated accordingly to the “at least once every 31 days” mandate that went into effect on 1/1/05.
