The payroll exams are administered during a one-month testing window in the Spring and Fall. The Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 payroll exam administrations test federal laws and regulations that were in effect January 1, 2007. The Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 payroll exam administrations will test on federal laws and regulations in effect January 1, 2008, and so on. Mid-year law or regulatory changes are not reflected in the current year’s payroll exams.

The Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 payroll exam administrations will test on federal laws and regulations in effect January 1, 2010, and so on. Mid-year law or regulatory changes are not reflected in the current year’s payroll exams.
