How often are residents seen on rounds?
The team makes rounds on a regular basis; long-term residents are scheduled to be seen on rounds once a month unless there is a medical/nursing problem that requires more immediate attention. The physician reviews medications every 30 days, and does a physical assessment every 60 days, or more often if there is a medical/nursing problem. Others on the clinical team see the resident daily. Rehabilitation Center patients are generally scheduled for rounds once a week.
