How often are pets fed?
Feeding depends on the type of animal, their individual health and needs, and the owner’s choice. Animals like cats and dogs can be fed several times a day or free fed, in which case the food is left available at all times and constantly filled so the animal can eat whenever and however much they like. Many owners prefer to measure out their pet’s food, usually in one, two, or three meals spread throughout the day. Some animals with certain medical conditions have to be fed a specific way to stay healthy. Reptiles and fish are often fed every few days. The amount of food and time required varies greatly from animal and animal, and you should first find the type of pet you would like before looking into how to feed them.
