How often are evaluation and auditing done?
The program is subjected to evaluation.We have been evaluated once in the last two years and the findings indicated improvements and weaknesses for further corrections. Consultation, joint project visits and reports are exercised together with donors. All accounts are audited annually by chartered accountants. Ever since our existence, about 30 children have benefited from the program. Presently 12 poor families receive support through the child-family reunification. The nature of the skill training program is self-employment oriented. We also facilitate training and employment opportunities for the youth in their respective localities in collaboration with government and private enterprises and workshops. Most of the former beneficiaries have obtained gainful employment. While 75% of the beneficiaries are either reunified or reintegrated, emphasizing female participation in the entire program, 41% of the workers and 32% of the beneficiaries are female.
