How often and when do regular scans occur?
The default configuration for the anti-virus software is to perform a full scan weekly on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 pm EST. If this time is not convenient, please contact our office with an alternate time and we will modify the configuration. Real-time scans are turned on so files are scanned as you access them and additionally during the weekly scan. The anti-spyware software is scheduled to perform full scans twice a week at 1:00 am EST. If the machine is not available during this time, the scan will be performed when the machine is turned on. This schedule cannot be modified at this time.
