How obama feels about drilling for more oil and gas in Arctic and Offshore?
Obama supports drilling of oil in Alaska and offshore in the Atlantic and Pacific. However, such drilling is not likely to yield usable petroleum products for several years (up to 10 years) and the main focus Obama has on energy remains on renewable sources of energy. He a few months ago was against off shore drilling, as most Democrats are, with the notable exception of Alaskan democrats. However, he has changed his position somewhat, since most of the nation is for off shore drilling.
