How Muslims and Christians can work together to promote peace?
• Interfaith dialog is prerequisite for mutual trust, justice and lasting peace. • Clergy can and should preach justice, stability and tolerance in global and local realms; however, they are not authorized to enforce it. They can only be enforced by government authorities. • The most effective way to promote understanding between people of various religions is through interfaith dialog, social engagement and academic interaction rather than through political or military ways.
