If you take it to your local Kia dealership, the labor rate is most likely going to be higher than if you were to take it to an independent shop. More than likely they will charge you and hour to diagnose the problem, and anywhere from half an hour to an hour to replace the sensor. If your local dealer’s labor rate is 80 dollars and hour, you’re looking at 160$ max labor, and whatever the sensor costs. I’m going to make a general assumption that the sensor isn’t more than 100$, so Id say you could be looking at a 300 dollar repair max.
