there is no such thing as a fluid level sensor on the trans in a grand prix. If you may be referring to a trans fluid temp sensor, and you are positive that the sensor or the wiring inside the trans is at fault, I can tell you how to repair this very inexpensively. I just performed this same repair on my Buick Regal. Or, I would expect a shop to charge you around $300 to fix this.
