How much would it cost to live in Australia for 6 weeks? Whats it like?
Well the cheapest I’ve ever managed to get a flight for was around £650.00 with Royal Brunai. 6 weeks isn’t really very long to see see the country, especially if your planning on travelling around on busses and trains. Australia is huge and it can take a good few weeks driving from one end to the other. My advice would be to travel up the east coast which is the most popular route for travellers anyway. You should have time to visit Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Cairns. Cheap and safe way to travel would be on the Oz experience bus, have a look at their website www.ozexperience.com How much money your going to need really depends on what you want to do while your out there. I know people who have taken £2000 and worked out there on a working holiday visa and stayed for a year but if you don’t want to work I’d take for 6 weeks between £1500 and £2000.
