There’s a reason it costs money to get pierced at a proper piercing studio – they are able to provide the correct environment, the correct tools, equipment and jewellery, and the correct advice, because a proper piercer has apprenticed and has years of experience of piercing on people who are willing to be practiced on, before being let loose on the general public. £10 barely covers the cost of the jewellery and the needle, so I’d doubt you would be getting anything else for that – makes me question what’s wrong with the studio that they’re selling themselves so cheaply. Like with tattoos – it’s worth paying that bit extra to get something decent, rather than being cheap in the short term and regretting it later.
