You cannot buy a ride with either the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds. You may make a request to the public information officer for a ride for yourself or someone else but who rides with them is determined by how best will it serve the image of their respective branches and the USA in general. If they OK the ride you’re given a physical and briefing then you get about 1/2 hour of flight time in their 2-seater. Both Demostration Squadrons offer rides to personalities of note; news reporters; politicians; Guber from Mayberry RFD flew with the Blue Angels.
