How much would it cost to fly a dog over from Australia to Germany? How long is the Quarantine for?
I don´t know how much it will cost. But as far as I know there is no Quarantine here in Germany. (At least not when I got my dog from the US.) You will need a certificate that your dog is healthy and is vaccinated against rabies (at least 30 days ago – not more than 12 months) and the dog must be microchipped. I just found the number of an Australian Embassy here in Germany maybe you can call them to ask. Not sure about the number you have to dial to make a call from Australia to Germany but the number here is -228-8 10 30. I also know that it depends on the breed of your dog because certain breeds are banned here in Germany (Am.Staff, Pitbull…..) and it´s illegal to bring them here. The airline you travel with should also be able to tell you about it or at least tell you where to call for more information. P.S.: Where in Germany do you plan to move?
