I had a 97 Ford Escort, and the transmission failed one day that i borrowed the car. The person who drove the car blow it, apparently he was driving all way in L at the mountains or something like that, that cost me $7,000 Pesos, for you must be $ 650 USD, im talking 7 years ago, so now you can have it repaired for under $300 USD i think, go to the dealer to compare prices. After that the car never failed again.
