Portraits tend to be quite intricate with very specific shading and it’s really going to depend on the size you want. You are probably looking at a few hours sitting, so between $400 and $700 might be a good ballpark, though it’s really impossible for me to say at since without knowledge of the size or piece itself. You definitely want to find yourself an experienced portrait tattooist though, since a good portrait can be absolutely amazing, but there are few worse tats than a badly done portrait.
