How much would I sell my old computer (Windows 95)?

Nothing really. Windows 95 can’t even be used on the internet anymore because it is unsecure so the computer really has no value as such. The case might be worth keeping if it’s good quality because cases don’t really age and a can of spray paint can make them look tidy again. You could also install the old drive into a newer PC so that you have a choice of two operating systems: Windows XP or Vista for normal use and Windows 95 for playing old games that won’t run on XP; there a lot of old games from the 90’s that are still good fun and you can pick them up for under £1 each; I bought Theme Hospital, Rayman Gold and Civilization II for 50p each. I don’t think Windows 95 even needs to be registered so you wouldn’t need to swap the license over.

You would be hard pushed to sell it! It doesn’t look as though it was a top spec machine 9 years ago due only to it running Win 95. Not that this is in any way a measure of computer speed as it could easily be changed at any time. If you were very lucky you might get £1 – £2 sterling. In fact, you would likely get more if you sold it as parts on eBay. Providing everythink works well, you might get £40, made up of a few pounds per part. If i was you, i would take it to the local tip or charity shop as the effort will not be worth the reward.
