Caps run any where from 7000- 10,000 each. You would need to call your local fish and Wildlife people to find out if you can have one where you live. And they potty in diapers, so you will be changing diapers for the next 40+ years. They are on bottles when you first get them but when they get older they eat monkey food ( like dog food for monkeys) and fruits and veggies. And a little meat as well. But if you are think of getting on you need to so some research first. They are not easy pets to take care of and are much more like having a human baby then a pet.
