How much wood is removed by sanding?

The floor in the kitchen appears to be stick-on vinyl tile. I do not know if there is wood floor under the tile. In the event that there is wood underneath, is it possible to remove all the glue and residue from a vinyl floor using your process? A. No. The floor would have to be sanded.
