How much will the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam cost me?
The cost of the TEAS exam is approximately $35.00. Due to budget decrease, Fresno City College Nursing Department will no longer pay for students to take the exam. Students will be asked to pay the cost of the exam at the time of testing by using a major credit card or debit card only. The remediation process (if necessary) is free of charge to Fresno City College nursing student candidates. However, based on individual subject scores on the TEAS, some students may be required to complete all or a portion of the nursing student “Success Package” courses. These nursing courses are offered after admission into the nursing program and include: RN 202- Success Strategies for RN Students, RN 25- Nursing Process, and RN 23- Medication Math. Students required to enroll in these remediation courses will pay the required tuition fee.
