How much will the Solid Waste Management Fee for my building be?
You can estimate the Solid Waste Management Fee for your building using the Calculator (XLS). The Solid Waste Management Fee for garbage collection will depend upon the volume of waste set out by the building each month and the number of units in the building. The total volume of garbage set out each month will be divided by the number of dwelling units to determine the volume of waste per unit. If the volume per unit is the equivalent of a Small Bin, the building will be charged the fee for the Small Bin times the number of units. If the volume per unit is the equivalent of a Medium Bin, the building will be charged the fee for the Medium Bin times the number of units, and so on.
