How much will the NGT scheme cost?

The total cost of the scheme, which has been granted ‘Programme Entry Approval’, is approximately £254 million in outturn prices. The scheme has secured £235 million of Central Government funding through the Regional Funding Allocation process. Metro and Leeds City Council (LCC) will be required to make a local contribution. It is not proposed that council tax payments will be changed as a result of building or operating this scheme.
