How much will the deposit be on each drink container?
The deposit will be 10 cents per drink container, the same as South Australia. South Australia recently reviewed its deposit, and increased it from 5 cents to 10 cents per container as this was considered an appropriate level. Having the same deposit in the Territory allows for greater harmonisation of the SA and NT schemes.
