If approved, PSNH will acquire CVECs assets (poles, equipment, sub-stations, etc.) for their net book value of about $9 million. PSNH has also agreed to assume CVECs current purchased power obligations with independent power producers and will pay an additional $21 million to terminate the high-priced power contracts between CVEC and CVPS.
