How much will Participants receive from EDC?
Under the terms of the Agreement, U.S. interests will receive USD 1 billion. To cover this amount, Participants directed EDC to pay a portion of the amount of the duties and interest to U.S. interests. As such, Participants will receive 81.94 per cent of the duties and interest owed by the U.S. Government and EDC will direct the balance (18.06 per cent) to the U.S. interests as provided in the Agreement.
