How much will it cost to obtain a permit?
The application fee is determined in the SSDS Regulations and is set at approximately $150 for a three-year permit. Background checks (including the issue of identity cards for responsible workers) will cost approximately an additional $60 per person. Applicants must consent to two background checks. • A National Police certificate (NPC) check and • A Politically Motivated Violence (PMV) check. All States and Territories are endeavouring to keep the financial impact on business and individuals as low as possible.
