How much will an Assessment cost?
Richardson: It’s $500 for a full assessment, but for those who have trouble paying we’ll try to find some wiggle room. Peszko: We’re hoping to get corporations to sponsor children, and that would help a lot. We never want to turn people away because they’re unable to pay, but we still have to pay our bills. This is how we’ll be able to provide those services. Q: How are you funding the organization? Richardson: We’ve been working since January, when we threw in our own funds to get us started. Now we’re writing grants and looking for donations. The Kenmore-Tonawanda school district has been very kind, loaning us furniture. We’ve been bringing in things from home, but we’re in dire need of everything. We need books, bookshelves, file cabinets, space to house programs, instructional materials, a computer and printer and of course money. Q: What other services do you hope to provide? Richardson: We’re going to provide remedial reading instruction for children, but we hope to start working
