How much will a flood clean up cost?
You will be billed for the deductible by the company handling your flood cleanup. The actual cause of the loss is not covered by the insurance company; for example, a water pipe that breaks won’t be covered and you’ll have to pay for the material and labor to fix that. (Note: you could be held responsible for a portion of the flood damage restoration bill that the insurance company won’t, pay but to date we have never seen this happen).
