The consumer price depends on how comprehensive the offering is. In some cases, the card will come with pre-loaded content, and therefore its price will reflect the value of the content. In other cases, the card will be sold with services, the cost of which could either be passed on to the consumer or be subsidised by the service provider, who could use the subsidised services to tempt consumers to purchase additional services.
