When you starve your body from the nutrients it needs, it goes into protection mode. Your body starts to store fats and save them in order to keep you alive. You will not only slow down your metabolism, but the next time you do this your body will recognize it as a casual thing and start to pack on the little that you do eat and save it for the next time, and the next time. The most successful way to lose weight is to work out. You need to burn more calories than you are taking in. If you work out twice a day i think you could achieve a ten pound goal. Then again it depends on how much you weigh right now. If you are overweight it will be easy, if you are not overweight your goal will be harder to reach. Also, when you start to work out twice a day your muscles will swell. Meaning you will weight more. So if you weigh yourself everyday you will not be satisfied with your results.
