Don’t do it that way! It’s a bad idea to cover a window well with glass. You’ll get heat and moisture buildup in the well, and possibly an infestation of mold or insects. Also glass is a poor choice of material, the slightest scratch or nick can weaken it substantially. Use something very open, like crossed bamboo poles.
