How much weight can a 12 stone girl lose in 9 weeks?
Provided that you eat sensibly (don’t starve yourself on minimal calories) and exercise for around 30 minutes a day (doing some weights would make a huge difference) then its entirely possibly to lose between 9 and 18lbs – though the lower end of the scale is more realistic. The body can only shed around 1-2lbs of fat a week, the rest comes from muscle mass and water loss (which you don’t want). Eat mainly unrefined foods (veg, fruit, meat) and try to keep a fairly high protein intake. Avoid refined products (cereals, instant food, etc) and make ‘sugar’ a swear word. Its generally accepted that 1 stone of weight = roughly 1 dress size so provided you stick with healthy eating (and the exercise, do NOT forget the exercise!!) then i’d say in 9 weeks time you should: – Aim to weigh: 10 stone 6lbs <> 11 stone 5lbs – Dress size: 10/12 Good luck!!
