How much water should a man drink if he runs 5 miles in one hour every day?

A man needs fluid, and do all people, and his running 5 miles in an hour every day does NOT increase or decrease his need for fluid (water) … but he will ‘sweat’ out fluid while running and he NEEDS to drink an 8 ounce glass of Gatorade after he’s done running. He should carry a bottle with plain tap water in it and ‘sip’ while running if he gets terribly thirsty, but may also want to squirt some water over his head and shoulders if he’s getting too hot and feels shaky. As for how much ‘water’ this man needs every day, it’s ‘about 64 ounces of FLUID’ not 64 ounces of ‘water’ and all other drinks … and coffee (a diuretic) ‘counts’ in that as wll as things like berries and cherries and other fruits, and even the ‘meats’ if they are ‘moist’ …
