How much water is treated by the Water Pollution Control Plant?
The treatment plant handles approximately 29 million gallons of raw wastewater each day. During wet weather, the flow is higher due to groundwater that leaks into the collection system of sewer pipes and manholes. In dry weather, the flow is slightly less.
