How much water does a wind turbine use?
The only water that wind turbines use are for cleaning purposes (i.e. washing blades), and as a lubricant for the equipment inside the turbine. Both accumulate to a very small amount of total water used. The amount of water used to generate power is becoming an increasingly larger concern in some areas due to growing industrial, agricultural, and domestic use.
