How much water do you drink a day- does it stop dehydration of the skin?

About two litres a day. It does help.; I live up north where it’s cold and dry and the more I drink the better my skin feels. It also helps with your body’s basic metabolism and cell functions. And yes you can have too much. Certain cases have shown that people have died from overconsumption, or water poisoning. It usually happens at stupid water drinking contests where large quantities are consumed very quickly. Basically is overwhelms the kidneys and they don’t have time to filter it all out . I think they can handle about a litre an hour. If they can’t eliminate all the extra fast enough, you cells become water locked and can’t function properly. It ends up poisoning your blood stream as the water imbalances the toxins in the body.
