How much water do little red ear slider turtles eat?
This type of turtle lives in water… most of the time…so have a tank full of water at least a 20 gallon tank… filled with water and build up some rocks into a cave under water and a platform with a heat lamp above water that he can get to to sun himself… Make sure he has either live crickets or tiny guppies or gold fish to eat at his leisure… Depending how big he is you will have to increase the size of his tank accordingly, he should have enough room to fully swim for a couple of seconds from one end of the tank tot the other… Don’t worry about his drinking, but keep the water fresh and filtered and watch the level of the water… it evaporates quickly depending on your humidity levels.. do all of this and you will have one happy turtle!
