How much was Hank Aaron paid to play Major League Baseball?
Hank Aaron in his Autobiography in 1974 states that he was young and didn’t understand about the deals the Managers of baseball leagues made even though his father had a lawyer go over the contract with the Brave’s Manager. Hank was paid $110,000, but, like the Giants (with a little more money) he wouldn’t receive bonus’ there or with the Braves. He stated that when he had ended his baseball career and when all was said and done he got a cardboard suitcase and Syd Polock pocketed the $10,000 remaining.
