How much training does a nurse anesthetist have?
Nurse anesthetists, also known as CRNAs (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists), are advanced practice nurses who have completed specialized training in the administration of anesthesia. Many nurse anesthetists also have additional experience in surgical and medical nursing as well. Nurse anesthetists are highly skilled professionals who work in close collaboration with our medical center’s anesthesiologists to care for patients undergoing anesthesia.
