How much traffic will use the Northern Expressway?
It is predicted that traffic volumes on the Northern Expressway will vary in different locations. It is predicted that in 2011 at the following locations there will be the following increase in volumes (vpd = vehicles per day): • On Main North Road South from the Gawler Bypass from 34,000 vpd to 49,000 vpd. • On Main North Road at Munno Para north of Womma Road from 35,900 vpd to 46,700 vpd • On Main Road at Elizabeth Elizabeth South of Philip Highway from 40,700 vpd to 69,700 vpd. • On Main North Road at Salisbury north of Kings Road from 41,300 vpd to 51,300 vpd. • On Angle Vale Road east of Angle Vale from 5,700 vpd to 13,000 vpd. • On Heaslip Road north of Curtis Road from 8,800 vpd to 11,600 vpd. • On Heaslip Road north of Waterloo Corner Road from 11,600 vpd to 27,600 vpd. • On Port Wakefield Road south of Taylors Road from 14,000 vpd to 23,200 vpd. • On Port Wakefield Road south of Waterloo Corner Road from 27,300 vpd to 34,900 vpd. • On Port Wakefield Road south of Martins Road
