How much to repair a hole in dry wall?

To do it right the handy man will have to be there four times! The first time to square off the hole, measure and cut a piece to fill the hole with, apply drywall tape and the first coat of drywall mud. He’d have to come back a second and third time to recoat the tape with mud and he’d have to come back a fourth time to sand, prime and paint it. It the paint job isn’t fairly fresh then he’d have to paint the whole wall. That 4″ hole just cost you a minimum of $150.00 to have it done right. If you do anything less than fixing it right then your landlord may still call in a professional to have it done right and it may cost you even more. This may sound expensive for a little hole but as I said they have to make four trips to do it right. Temper, temper. It’s a lot cheaper to smile!
