You don’t need a CPA to prepare a corporate tax return. You need a person that is trained in income taxes. A CPA is only needed to certify and audit financial statements. Many CPAs don’t even do tax returns. You wouldn’t use a bookkeeper to do this either unless he were a trained tax preparer.
