How much time will I need to commit to the Juris Doctorate program?
In accordance with applicable rules promulgated by the State Bar of California, you will be required to devote a total of 864 hours per year to your JD studies (i.e., an average of 17.5 hours per week for approximately 50 weeks). This time is spent reading, preparing for lectures, and completing assignments and examinations, among other tasks.
