How much time will be given to Institutions to ensure the network is ready?

BT iNet working with UCS will be coordinating a network readiness survey to be carried out at each institution. The output of the network readiness survey will determine the suitability of the existing infrastructure for VOIP telephones. Following the network readiness survey there will be a period of time during which rectification time can be carried out. The length of this time will be determined by the complexity of any required network changes and procurement of any equipment required. This period of time will be determined on a case by case basis in discussions between the institutions, UCS and the BT iNet Project team.
