How much time is devoted to negotiating a short sale?
We usually spend about 40 hours per deal; however some are as low as 16 hours and others as much as 80. The big variable is how cooperative your lender is. Phone time alone can exceed 50 hours with troublesome lenders and stubborn seconds! For this reason alone, it is uncommon to find a Realtor not associated with the REPTEAM who will spend that amount of time on your short sale.
