How much time does the pledging/new-member process entail?
You must be available Tues. nights at 7pm, and Thurs. nights starting at 7pm. You must be available Friday night-Sunday of week 4 for retreat. You must also be free for the late-afternoon/evening of the Saturday of week 9. We think that being a new member is the time equivalent of taking a 4 unit class at UCLA (not Chem 153A or 14CL status…) You will have required activities at least twice a week for 8 weeks, along with the mandatory retreat and banquet. There will be assignments that correspond to lessons taught to you during the process. After becoming an active, the time commitment decreases dramatically. Keep in mind that the time you put in affects how much you get out of our fraternity.
