How much time does the employer have to enroll the dependents and return the Notice?
A14: Within 20 business days from the date of the Notice, the employer must notify DOR of any reason it cannot provide coverage according to the terms of the order. If the employer is able to provide coverage, the employer must forward Part B of the Notice to its health insurance plan administrator, and the plan administrator then has 40 days from the date of the Notice to complete the “Plan Administrator Response” of Part B and return it to DOR.
