If you are replacing a furnace or air conditioner, installation should be a one day job. If you are replacing both furnace and air conditioner they should schedule a day and a half. A Contractor should not rush through an installation. Once installed, both the furnace and air conditioner operation should be checked thoroughly. Some companies dont allow enough time for their technicians to do the install and perform these checks at the end of the day. They start the equipment and as long as it is running it is good enough for them, not so good for you.
