How much time commitment is necessary for the online course 911 Marriage?
Total time per week is 2.5-5 hours. Each conference call (two per week) lasts 1.5 hours. Keep in mind that it may be long distance for you, however joining the call by computer is free. The recorded video portion is 60-80 minutes broken into 3 files. Download time will depend on your internet speed. The homework ranges from 1-10 pages of reading with 2-6 assignments, usually writing a paragraph or a series of separate sentences. You could probably complete the homework in an hour, but for your own benefit, it would of course be best to not rush. It is probably best to watch the video (1-1.5 hours) then read the material (20-30 minutes) then think about your answers for a while, maybe a day or two even, then write down your thoughts and be ready to discuss the topic at the phone conference (1-2 hours).
